Parish Photography prides itself on being one of the Best Wedding Photographers in San Antonio. Our studio was founded in 1964 by Charles Parish – check out the timeline of his work, here! In 2009, Jenna-Beth (also known as JB) took over the business and learned a lot under the guidance of Charles. Since acquiring the business, JB has melded modern photography with some of the more traditional aspects of wedding photography that Charles’ cherished. We believe in family and bridal portraits and capturing your guests, but also like to play with fun, modern, and contemporary styles of photography. The photo collection that our brides and grooms receive will combine both of these elements, while creating a seamless storytelling experience. Since JB took over, she has photographed over 100 weddings, making her experience incredibly valuable to customers. She also personally trained Meghan, who is her second photographer at weddings and other large functions. By training her own photographers, JB ensures that her style of photographing stays consistent, which is important for our customers. Our wedding photography services are some of the best in San Antonio because of the foundations of our business philosophy. We believe that weddings should not be sold by the hour. Instead, all of our packages include full day coverage, which typically range from 8-10 hours. But sometimes it can be more or less! It depends on the day the bride and groom and their families have planned. We do not believe in cutting any corners. Therefore, we arrive in time for getting ready photos and stay until the very last dance and exit.

In addition to full day coverage, Parish will always have two photographers at every wedding. No, we will not charge extra for an additional photographer like many other photographers do. We also believe in the power of tangible photographs – whether it’s a canvas wrap, custom album, or simple 8×10 framed photo, we believe they should exist in your home. While solely digital images are nowadays the norm, we offer a print credit with every package which separates us from many of the other photographers in the city. Of course, we also deliver all the edited high resolution jPegs as well.

What to Expect after the Wedding

We have a very quick turnaround for delivering wedding photographs. While most other photographers take months (sometimes up to 8 months!) to deliver the images, we promise to deliver the photos within 3 weeks of the wedding date. We know our newlyweds and their families are excited to relive their special day. We also know that wedding photography is a large investment and we want to honor that investment by providing timely photos.
