Featured Wedding: Jacobi and Steve

As the sun sets on this beautiful ranch wedding, the party held in a restored barn was just beginning. An unusual combination of a harp, a violin and the subtle beating of bongos fill the warm, Texas air as this musically inclined couple enjoy the rich ambiance they have created for their friends and family.  The lovely ceremony took place outside on a Texas ranch between Kerrville and Fredericksburg. With the always temperamental Texas weather, a ceremony exposed to the elements can be a little risky, but with the help of personalized umbrellas reading “Let love be your umbrella” the service went off without a hitch. Steve, who was raised Jewish, performed the traditional breaking of the glass to conclude the wedding as his friends and family shouted, “Mazel Tov” to wish the couple good luck. The reception that followed took place in a restored Quaker barn that was the perfect venue for this older, mature guest list comprised mostly of musicians. The couple also kept their family close at hand with Steve’s father as his Best Man and Jacobi’s sister as her maid of honor. It was a classic event with a harmonious twist leaving all of their cherished guests with the unforgettable memory of their beautiful event.
